Special Health Lecture and Interactive Experience Booths
Gwangjin District in Seoul (Mayor Kim Kyungho) will host the "2025 Health Communication Festival" on October 15 at the main auditorium of the Gwangjin District Office to promote a healthy lifestyle culture.
This event is designed to share a wide range of health information and everyday health management tips, featuring a special health lecture and interactive booths so that all residents can participate and enjoy.
The health lecture will begin at 10 a.m. and last for 100 minutes, delivered by Professor Park Yongwoo, author of "Switch On Diet Recipe Book" and Director of the Obesity Clinic at Kangbuk Samsung Hospital. Under the theme "The Secrets of Fat-Burning Meals and Movement," he will introduce practical diet and exercise methods such as intermittent fasting and high-intensity workouts that help with weight management and maintaining good health.
After the lecture, 17 health experience booths will be available. These include a smart assessment booth for gait analysis and physical function evaluation, a booth for mental health checks and making aroma sprays, a memory-keeping booth for brain training, a Korean medicine healing booth for acupoint identification and making herbal sachets, and a preventive health management booth offering consultations on blood pressure, blood sugar, smoking cessation, vaccinations, and oral health, among many other programs.
