Address information facilities play a crucial role in providing accurate location information using road name addresses and supporting rapid response in emergency situations.

Through this maintenance project, the city replaced 53 road name address signs that had been lost or damaged and posed a risk of falling, thereby strengthening the address system. Additionally, 51 new object address signs were installed at children's playgrounds and civil defense shelters, enabling citizens to more easily check location information and respond swiftly in emergencies.

In particular, large LED building number signs with high visibility were installed at four public institutions-Veterans Hall, Youth Center, Hyangno Youth Culture House, and the Samsaeksamhwa Platform-ensuring clear location guidance even at night or during severe weather. This project is also expected to improve the cityscape and prevent safety accidents.

Choi Yongbong, head of the Civil Affairs Division, said, "We expect this project to significantly enhance citizen safety by enabling faster location identification in emergencies," adding, "We will continue to improve the road name address system and maintain the urban environment going forward."
