First, the Gangneung Baugil Weekend Walking Program, held every Saturday, is open to everyone without the need for prior registration. In October, the program covers sections 7 to 10 of Gangneung Baugil, with one course completed each week.

The program for walking the Gangneung section of the Haebaragi Trail is also highly popular. Anyone interested in traveling the Haebaragi Trail on foot can join, and participants are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Currently, a program is recruiting participants to walk part of Course 37 of the Haebaragi Trail (from Gulsansa Temple Site to Songdam Seowon), where participants can also enjoy cultural experiences along the way.

Lastly, there is also the Gyeongpo Cultural Heritage Exploration Trail program, where participants walk Gangneung's premium trails with a professional guide. The October course follows a route from Ojukheon to Gyeongpo Lake and Gasiyeon Wetland, allowing participants to experience both local culture and nature.
