The Korea Post carried out system restoration work for the Post Office Shopping Mall during the Chuseok holiday period in collaboration with the National Information Resources Service, the Postal Information Management Center, and the Korea Post Business Promotion Agency.

However, Android phone users will be automatically redirected to the mobile web instead of the Post Office Shopping application (app) to use the shopping mall service. Normal service through the mobile app will resume once the Ministry of the Interior and Safety's mobile public security common platform system is restored.

If users experience any inconvenience while using the Post Office Shopping Mall, they can report it through the Post Office customer center.

The Korea Post purchased products worth 1.1 billion won from 92 partner companies that suffered losses due to the suspension of the Post Office Shopping Mall. After the holiday, it plans to make additional purchases worth 2.2 billion won from the remaining affected partner companies.

Starting October 21, a large-scale discount event will be held to support affected partner companies. The event will offer discounts of up to 50%, provide discount coupons, and fully waive sales commissions-which average 6% of the sales price-for products sold during the event period.

Vice Minister Bae Kyunghoon stated, "Taking this disruption of the Post Office Shopping Mall as an opportunity, we will establish a monitoring system for stable operations and continue to support small and medium-sized partner companies."
