On October 9, Samsung Electronics announced that it had launched the "Hangul Truck" project to promote the beauty and value of Hangul in celebration of Hangul Day. The project was held at major universities in the United States in collaboration with the Korean Cultural Center New York and installation artist Kang Ikjoong.

Kang Ikjoong is a world-renowned installation artist based in New York. He has received several honors, including the Special Contribution Award at the 1997 Venice Biennale, the Korean Culture Grand Prize (Presidential Award) in 2012, and the Sejong Culture Award in 2021.

As part of the Hangul Truck project, a large-scale artwork featuring the "Hangul Cube," created from individual Hangul characters by Kang Ikjoong, was displayed on the front of the truck. This exhibition toured six universities, including Yale, Cornell, and Princeton, starting from September 26 (local time).

The project also introduced a feature where visitors could use the Galaxy Z Fold7 to type a "message to my future self" in English, which was then translated into Korean by Galaxy AI's interpretation function and displayed on the large screen of the Hangul Truck.

Choi Seungeun, Vice President of the Mobile Marketing Center at Samsung Electronics MX Division, said, "The Hangul Truck is a project that showcases the unique beauty and value of Hangul, an open language that can be easily combined and expanded, together with Galaxy, an open technology that connects the world. We will continue to expand public cultural projects that connect regions, languages, and generations."
