A man and a woman in their 30s, who were engaged to be married, were found dead in an apartment in Saha District, Busan, prompting a police investigation.
According to the Busan Saha Police Station on October 4, at around 7:46 p.m. on October 3, the mother of the woman, identified as Ms. A, found her daughter collapsed and bleeding inside an apartment and reported it to the authorities. It is reported that Ms. A’s mother rushed to her daughter’s home after receiving an urgent call for help from her.
At the same time, a man in his 30s, identified as Mr. B, who lived with Ms. A, was found collapsed in the apartment’s flowerbed. Both Ms. A and Mr. B were immediately transported to the hospital but were pronounced dead.
Forensic examination at the scene revealed stab wounds and signs of strangulation on Ms. A’s body. Police secured a weapon from inside the apartment and believe that Mr. B died from a fall.
Police suspect that Mr. B killed Ms. A and then jumped from the building. It is known that Ms. A and Mr. B had been living together in anticipation of their upcoming wedding.
A police official stated, "As both individuals have died, we are unable to obtain statements," adding, "We plan to conduct autopsies and further investigations to determine the exact circumstances."
