[Weather Tomorrow] Cloudy Nationwide with Rain in Some Areas... Up to 40mm on Southern Coast and Jeju Island

Daytime Highs Reach 29 Degrees
Dense Fog Expected in Southern Inland Areas

On Saturday, October 4, the weather across the country is expected to be mostly cloudy with rain in some areas.


In northern Seoul, Incheon, northern Gyeonggi Province, and the central and northern inland areas of Gangwon Province, light rain is expected until the morning. From the afternoon, most regions nationwide will see a lull in precipitation. On the southern coast and Jeju Island, there may be gusty winds, thunder, and lightning at times.

The expected rainfall is 5 to 40 mm for the southern coast of Jeollanam-do, the southern coast of Gyeongsangnam-do, and Jeju Island; 5 to 20 mm for Yeongdong in Gangwon Province, Gwangju and Jeollanam-do, Jeollabuk-do, and the Gyeongsang region; less than 10 mm for the Chungcheong region; and less than 5 mm for southern Gyeonggi Province and southern Yeongseo in Gangwon Province.


The morning low temperatures are forecast to range from 18 to 22 degrees Celsius, and the daytime highs are expected to reach between 23 and 29 degrees Celsius. In the southern inland areas, fog with visibility of less than 1 km may form between dawn and morning.


Wave heights are expected to be 0.5 to 3.0 meters in the East Sea, 0.5 to 2.0 meters in the West Sea, and 0.5 to 2.5 meters in the South Sea. In the open sea (about 200 km from the coastline), waves are forecast to reach 1.0 to 3.5 meters in the East Sea and 0.5 to 3.0 meters in the West and South Seas.
