Fifty-Five Members Honored
"Deep Appreciation for Dedication and Contributions"
To commemorate the 70th anniversary of its founding, the Democratic Party of Korea Sejong Special Self-Governing City Party awarded Level 2 commendations to its members on this day.
The Democratic Party of Korea Sejong Special Self-Governing City Party (Chairman Kang Junhyeon) announced on October 2 that it presented the "City Party Chairman’s Level 2 Commendation" at the city party’s main conference room on October 1, recognizing party members who have quietly dedicated themselves to the party and the local community in celebration of the 70th anniversary of its founding.
This commendation was primarily awarded to rank-and-file members who have devoted themselves behind the scenes for the growth and development of the Sejong City Party. The total number of recipients was 55, including 10 recommended by the city party, 15 recommended by the Gap district chairperson, 15 recommended by the Eul district chairperson, and 15 recommended by various other chairpersons.
Chairman Kang Junhyeon stated, "The roots and strength of the party come from the dedication of our fellow party members," and added, "I am especially deeply grateful to the rank-and-file members who have steadfastly served and protected the party from behind the scenes." He continued, "As we mark the 70th anniversary of our founding, we will remember the path we have walked together and continue to practice politics that serve the citizens and the community."
With this commendation as a turning point, the city party pledged even greater unity and progress, and plans to continue practicing politics that prioritize the lives of citizens and operate as a party together with the people.
