Governor Shin Woochul Visits Welfare Centers to Encourage Users and Staff
In celebration of the Chuseok holiday, Wando County in South Jeolla Province visited social welfare facilities and underprivileged groups to deliver consolation goods and share acts of kindness. On October 2, the county visited 13 social welfare facilities and 1,844 low-income households within its jurisdiction, delivering consolation goods and monetary gifts worth a total of 50 million won.

County Governor Shin Woochul personally visited social welfare facilities and the welfare center for the disabled to listen to the difficulties faced by facility users and staff, and offered words of warm encouragement.
Governor Shin also visited key institutions such as the police station, fire station, and military units to express his gratitude to those working on-site during the holiday, and asked them to do their utmost to ensure the safety of county residents and returning visitors during the holiday period. In addition, senior county officials joined in creating a warm holiday atmosphere by visiting underprivileged neighbors in each town and township to deliver consolation goods.
Governor Shin stated, "I hope everyone enjoys a bountiful holiday, and I will continue to show concern and share with our underprivileged neighbors in the future."
