With an extended golden holiday of up to 10 days approaching, those with urgent banking needs will face less inconvenience. The banking sector plans to operate mobile branches on highways nationwide during the Chuseok holiday period to enhance customer convenience.
According to the financial industry on October 3, major commercial banks and regional banks will operate 13 mobile branches and 11 flexible branches during the holiday. Mobile branches will offer deposit, withdrawal, and new bill exchange services at highway rest areas, while flexible branches will provide currency exchange and remittance services at airports and in areas with a high concentration of foreign workers.
NH Nonghyup Bank will operate a mobile branch at Hanam Dream Rest Area on the Jungbu Expressway from October 2 to 3, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Customers can access financial services such as new bill exchange and cash withdrawals.

Customers who wish may repay early on October 2, before the holiday, and in this case, no early repayment fee will be charged. Deposits maturing during the holiday will also be paid on October 10, including interest accrued during the holiday period.
