Muan County in South Jeolla Province and the Korea Local Administration Mutual Aid Association have signed a win-win cooperation agreement to enhance the welfare and improve the quality of life for public officials in Muan County.
At the signing ceremony held on October 1, both organizations agreed to strengthen mutual cooperation and promote the welfare of public officials based on mutual trust. At the event, the Mutual Aid Association prepared two coffee trucks to provide snacks and beverages to encourage the approximately 800 employees of Muan County. During the following briefing session, the association introduced its salary services and various welfare programs, which received a positive response.
Kim Janghoe, Chairman of the Korea Local Administration Mutual Aid Association, stated, "This event was organized to express gratitude and provide a moment of rest and revitalization for the public officials of Muan County who dedicated themselves to handling last year's Jeju Air passenger plane accident. We also participated in the Chuseok holiday shopping event to support the local economy."
As of the end of September, the Mutual Aid Association reported total assets of 31 trillion won and a membership of 380,000, maintaining a surplus for nine consecutive years. The association plans to further enhance customized face-to-face services for members, such as the 'Visiting Mutual Aid Association' program.
