"Talent Development" Hyundai Motor Group Launches Second Cohort of "H-Jump School Indonesia"

Providing Tailored Educational Guidance for Adolescents

Hyundai Motor Group announced on October 2 that it held the launch ceremony for the second cohort of "H-Jump School Indonesia" at the Sheraton Hotel in Jakarta, Indonesia, on October 1 (local time).


The "H-Jump School" social contribution project is a program that provides mentoring among youth, university students, and group employees to foster young talent and support the education of underprivileged adolescents.

For the second cohort, in addition to Indonesia National University, Bandung Institute of Technology joined the program, doubling the number of university student mentors to 100, with 50 selected from each school. Each mentor will be responsible for guiding four students at schools and welfare institutions until June next year, providing mentoring opportunities to approximately 400 adolescents.


On August 23, Hyundai Motor Group also held the launch ceremony for the sixth cohort and the completion ceremony for the fifth cohort of "H-Jump School Vietnam" at the Lotte Hotel in Hanoi, Vietnam. The 100 student mentors from Hanoi National University will guide the studies of about 400 adolescents until June next year.


In addition, outstanding university student mentors from the first cohort in Indonesia and the fifth cohort in Vietnam will participate in a visit-to-Korea program this month, where they will have opportunities to interact with Korean university student mentors from "H-Jump School."


Hyundai Motor Group launched "H-Jump School" in Korea in 2013, in Vietnam in 2020, and in Indonesia last year. This year, 500 university student mentors from three countries are expected to guide the studies of about 2,000 adolescents.


A Hyundai Motor Group official stated, "We will continue our efforts to foster healthy future talent and bridge educational gaps," adding, "We will provide more opportunities for learning and growth."
