Kim Nayoung and MyQ to Marry After Four Years Together
"Moved by Trust, Love, and Dedication"
Broadcaster Kim Nayoung (44) will remarry singer MyQ (44), with whom she has been in a relationship for four years.
On October 1, Kim Nayoung announced in a video uploaded to her YouTube channel, "I have decided to become a family with MyQ, who has stayed by my side with great love and trust over the past four years." She continued, "The trust, love, and dedication that MyQ has shown to me and my children over a significant period moved my heart. I also found the courage to move forward, believing that the past should not stand in the way of who I am today."
The wedding will be a small and simple ceremony with family and close friends. Kim Nayoung said, "The ceremony will be held in a very small venue, so I wasn't able to share the news with many people. I hope for your understanding. I will do my best to build a happy family."
She expressed her gratitude, saying, "As I get older, I realize how much courage and support a person needs in life. With all the encouragement I have received, I will do my best to live life to the fullest. I also hope to share that love more broadly with others."
Kim Nayoung told her two sons, "We have been practicing becoming a family with Uncle. After practicing, I feel that if we truly become a family, we will be even happier." She then asked, "What do you think about Mom and Uncle getting married?" Kim Nayoung's two sons replied, "I like it," and "I think it's good," offering their congratulations and drawing attention.
Kim Nayoung married businessman A in April 2015 and has two sons. However, in 2018, A was arrested on charges of illegally profiting around 20 billion won from over 1,000 investors, and Kim Nayoung announced their divorce the following year.
