Na Kyungwon: "Just Enact a 'Law to Make President Lee Innocent'... Ruling Party Is Devastating the Country"

"Abolishing Breach of Trust, an Attempt to 'Make Lee Innocent'"
On Constitutional Complaints and Four-Instance System: "A Move to Overturn Supreme Court Rulings"

"The country is being devastated to make President Lee innocent"

Na Kyungwon, a member of the People Power Party, criticized the judicial and legislative actions of the Democratic Party of Korea, claiming, "Legislation and procedural pressure aimed at President Lee Jaemyung's acquittal are undermining the legal system of the Republic of Korea."

On October 1, Assemblywoman Na addressed the Democratic Party's push to abolish the crime of breach of trust and its offensive against the Supreme Court and the judiciary through her Facebook page. She argued that the Democratic Party is scheming to secure acquittals for President Lee Jaemyung in various breach of trust cases, such as the Daejang-dong and Baekhyeon-dong preferential development scandals and suspicions surrounding sponsorships for Seongnam FC.

Assemblywoman Na criticized the Democratic Party for claiming that abolishing the breach of trust crime would benefit businesses, saying, "Shouldn't you at least wet your lips before telling such lies? After tormenting companies with all sorts of bad laws-laws encouraging illegal strikes, the Serious Accidents Punishment Act, and even stricter commercial laws-what nonsense are you spouting now?" She continued, "Of course, it is necessary to ensure that the breach of trust crime does not excessively constrain business decision-making. However, what the Democratic Party is doing now is not for the benefit of businesses; it is simply to erase Lee Jaemyung's crimes."

Regarding discussions on introducing constitutional complaints and a four-instance court system, she pointed out that this essentially means overturning all Supreme Court rulings. Assemblywoman Na stated, "Even if President Lee Jaemyung is found guilty by the Supreme Court, the Democratic Party, which already controls the Constitutional Court, intends to nullify the effect of the Supreme Court's final verdict."

In conclusion, she expressed her outrage: "Has anything like this ever happened in our constitutional history? Is it possible to erase each crime committed by Lee Jaemyung, just for the sake of one person?" She added, "They might as well enact a 'Law to Make President Lee Jaemyung Innocent.' Why are they destroying the national legal system like this?"
