Lotte Construction Carries Out 'Love House' Volunteer Activities at Sancheong and Hapcheon Children's Centers in Gyeongnam

Lotte Construction announced on October 1 that, on September 30, it carried out volunteer activities and plaque ceremonies for the 96th and 97th "Love House of Dreams and Hope" at child welfare facilities in Sancheong-gun and Hapcheon-gun, Gyeongsangnam-do, in collaboration with Save the Children.

"Love House" is Lotte Construction's flagship social contribution initiative, launched in 2012. Leveraging its expertise in construction, the company has improved housing, welfare, and educational facilities. This latest effort focused on restoring two local children's centers that suffered flood damage during the record-breaking heavy rains last summer.

Employees of Lotte Construction replaced old desks and bookshelves at the Hapcheon Dreaming Regional Children's Center, and repainted the exterior walls at the Sancheong Champodo Regional Children's Center.

Previously, Lotte Construction had supported the Hapcheon-gun center by installing heating panels, replacing wallpaper, repairing restrooms and shoe cabinets, and improving sewage and wastewater systems. At the Sancheong-gun center, the company completed the installation of heating equipment and flooring, and replaced the kitchen sink. Lotte Wellfood snack gift sets were also delivered to the children.

A representative from Lotte Construction stated, "By leveraging our expertise in construction, we carried out this 'Love House of Dreams and Hope' volunteer activity to help children in flood-affected areas quickly return to a safe and comfortable environment where they can study and receive care. We plan to continue our social contribution efforts in various ways in the future."

Meanwhile, Lotte Construction recently completed its 95th "Love House" activity by supporting renovations, including replacing exterior windows and doors, at the Eden Regional Children's Center in Seo-gu, Gwangju.
