Namyangju City in Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Joo Gwangdeok) announced on September 30 that it has determined and disclosed the prices of individual and multi-unit housing as of June 1, and will accept objections until October 29.
This decision and disclosure applies to 179 individual homes and 412 multi-unit residences for which new construction, expansion, or changes of use occurred between January 1 and May 31, 2025.
The housing prices can be viewed by visiting the Taxation Division at City Hall, through the city’s official website, or on the Real Estate Price Disclosure Notification website.
Interested parties such as homeowners, leaseholders, and mortgage holders who have objections may fill out an objection form and submit it to the Administrative Welfare Center or the township, town, or neighborhood office where the property is located by the deadline.
For multi-unit residences, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport is responsible, while for individual homes, the city government is in charge. The housing prices are reviewed for balance with standard properties, verified by certified appraisers, and finalized after deliberation by the Real Estate Price Disclosure Committee. The results will be individually notified to those who filed objections, and the final adjusted prices will be officially announced on November 20.
Jang Dongdan, Head of the Taxation Division, emphasized, "Since housing prices serve as the basis for various taxes and charges, including property tax and comprehensive real estate tax, please make sure to check the officially disclosed prices within the designated period."
