On October 1, Gwangju and Jeollanam-do are expected to see clear skies, although morning fog will form in some areas.

According to the Gwangju Regional Meteorological Administration, the region will be affected by a high-pressure system moving eastward from the West Sea. From early morning to morning, dense fog with visibility of less than 200 meters is expected in inland areas of Gwangju and Jeollanam-do. Other areas may also experience fog with visibility of less than 1 kilometer.

Morning lows are forecast to range from 13 to 18 degrees Celsius, while daytime highs are expected to reach 25 to 29 degrees Celsius. Waves in the coastal waters off the West and South Seas will be around 0.5 meters high, and the concentration of ultrafine dust is expected to remain at a 'moderate' level.

An official from the Meteorological Administration advised, "Fog may be especially dense on coastal bridges and roads near rivers, lakes, and valleys. Please drive slowly and pay close attention to traffic safety to prevent collisions and other accidents."
