Warm-Hearted Father in His 40s Gives New Life to Three People Before Passing Away Donor Park Sungcheol, who donated organs while in a brain-dead state and passed away. Korea Organ and Tissue Donation Agency

A man in his 40s, the head of his family, collapsed during a meeting and fell into a brain-dead state. At the end of his life, he donated his organs and saved three people.

According to the Korea Organ and Tissue Donation Agency on September 30, Park Sungcheol, age 46, donated his liver and both kidneys at Hallym University Sacred Heart Hospital on July 17, giving new life to three people before passing away.

Earlier, on July 11, Park lost consciousness and collapsed during a meeting at work. He was transported to the hospital but ultimately could not return to his family. Park's family decided to proceed with the donation, hoping that he would continue to live on somewhere.

According to his family, Park was born in Seoul as the eldest son among two boys and one girl. He was known for his warmth, kindness, and constant smile, always caring and gentle toward those around him. After graduation, he learned auto body painting and worked for 25 years at an automotive service center. He loved nature and enjoyed hiking and walking with his family on weekends.

Park's wife, Kim Hyoeun, told their four-year-old daughter, who is too young to understand death, that "Daddy has become a star." Kim shared her final farewell: "It breaks my heart that we parted without even saying goodbye, and it still doesn't feel real. Let's meet again in the next life and spend a long, happy, and healthy time together. I hope you are well and healthy in heaven. I truly believe we will meet again. I love you."
