From October 3 to October 9, for a total of seven days, the city will organize a comprehensive response team consisting of 510 public officials from 26 departments, covering 10 areas including safety accidents, emergency medical care, civil complaints related to household waste, transportation, supervision and inspection, and support for vulnerable groups.

During this period, the city will set up situation teams for each area, centered around the comprehensive situation room, to respond swiftly to residents' inconveniences, civil complaints, and any incidents or accidents that may occur. In particular, the disaster situation room, which operates 24 hours a day, will receive and manage various weather and disaster reports, while maintaining close cooperation with relevant agencies such as the police and fire departments.

During the holiday, six emergency medical institutions in Ansan-including Korea Workers’ Compensation and Welfare Service Ansan Hospital, Sarang Hospital, Dong Ansan Hospital, Korea University Ansan Hospital, Hando Hospital, and Danwon Hospital-will maintain a 24-hour emergency medical care system. The Sangnok and Danwon Public Health Centers will form medical response teams to handle medical complaints and designate hospitals, clinics, and pharmacies that will remain open during the holiday.

In the environmental sector, the city will carry out advance publicity regarding the household waste collection schedule and form an emergency response team to address urgent complaints. Household waste will be collected as usual on all days except October 6 and 7 during the holiday period.

The city will also inspect city buses and intercity bus terminal facilities and strengthen safety training for transportation workers to accommodate the increased demand for transportation during the holiday. An emergency contact network will be maintained for the convenience of travelers returning home, and a cooperative system will be established with related institutions such as the intercity bus terminal.

In addition, in areas with a high concentration of foreign residents, such as the Multicultural Village Special Zone, the city will conduct security patrols and provide non-face-to-face guidance for civil complaints. Support funds will be provided to 62 social welfare facilities, including shelters for the homeless, to ensure there are no gaps in care for vulnerable groups.

The Ansan City Civil Complaint Call Center (1666-1234) will operate from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturdays and public holidays during the holiday period, and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sundays and the day of Chuseok.

Lee Mingeun, mayor of Ansan City, stated, "For Chuseok, the nation's largest holiday, we will operate a thorough emergency response system so that citizens can spend a warm and safe holiday with their families," adding, "We will respond quickly to unpredictable disasters and emergencies to minimize inconvenience for citizens."
