Record-Breaking Individual Donation for Hometown Development
Koo Jacheon, chairman of Shinseong Delta, a leading mid-sized company based in the Changwon Industrial Complex in South Gyeongsang Province, has donated 20 million won as a hometown development fund to his hometown, Jinju.

On September 25, Chairman Koo visited Jinju City and delivered the hometown donation to Mayor Cho Kyuil.
The hometown donation that Chairman Koo delivered to Jinju City is the highest amount donated by an individual to date. In 2023, Chairman Koo also contributed the then-record individual donation of 5 million won to the hometown development fund.
Chairman Koo founded Shinseong Delta in the Changwon Industrial Complex 30 years ago and has since grown the company into a leading mid-sized enterprise with production sites in over 20 countries worldwide. He has also served as chairman of both the Changwon Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the South Gyeongsang Chamber of Commerce and Industry Association.
Chairman Koo is serving as the chairperson of the festival committee for the 2025 Jinju Namgang Yudeung Festival, which will be held from October 4. An alumnus of Jinju High School, he previously served as president of the alumni association and has donated nearly 200 million won in school development funds on several occasions to support the school's growth.
Chairman Koo stated, "As an expression of gratitude for my successful business management and as part of my Christian life, I decided to give back to society by making this donation. I will continue to contribute in any way I can to the public good and to supporting those in need."
