Minseong Seo for Cosmetics Division 1, Seungmin Lee for Cosmetics Division 2
Honggeuk Kim for Ja-ju Division... Concurrently CEO of Shinsegae Casa and General Manager of Chicor
Kim Deokju, Head of Overseas Fashion at Shinsegae International, was promoted on September 26 and appointed as the new CEO. Minseong Seo, CEO of Purcell, will concurrently serve as CEO of Cosmetics Division 1, while Seungmin Lee, CEO of Amuse Korea, will also serve as CEO of Cosmetics Division 2. Honggeuk Kim, CEO of Shinsegae Casa and General Manager of Shinsegae Chicor, will concurrently serve as CEO of the Ja-ju Division.
Born in 1970, CEO Kim Deokju graduated from the Business Administration Department at Yonsei University and the Economics Department at the University of Toronto in Canada. He previously worked at Unilever Korea, Mars Korea, and Chanel Korea. He joined Shinsegae in 2017, serving as Executive Director in charge of BTS and Luxury Fashion, and from 2021, as Executive Director of the Cosmetics Division at Shinsegae International. Since 2023, he has been the Executive Vice President overseeing the Overseas Fashion Division.
In the cosmetics divisions, CEOs born in the 1980s have been appointed. Minseong Seo, CEO of Cosmetics Division 1, will concurrently serve as CEO of Purcell and Head of the Beauty Strategy Task Force at the Department Store Division’s Planning and Strategy Headquarters. Born in 1980, Seo graduated from the Business Administration Department at Sogang University and previously worked at LG Household & Health Care, Storyhenge, and Hyundai Card. He joined Shinsegae in 2014, serving in the Brand Strategy Team responsible for design, as Team Leader of Cosmetics Team 2 at Shinsegae International, and was appointed CEO of Purcell in September 2021. He has also served as Executive Director of the Cosmetics Team at the Department Store Division’s Planning and Strategy Headquarters and as Executive Director overseeing Cosmetics Division 2 at Shinsegae International.
Seungmin Lee, CEO of Cosmetics Division 2, was born in 1985 and graduated from the Business Administration and Advertising & Public Relations Departments at Yonsei University. He worked in new media advertising and management PR at KT in 2008, then handled beauty PR at Chanel Korea, marketing and PR for Giorgio Armani Beauty at L’Oreal Korea, and was Head of Marketing at Amuse Korea. He was appointed CEO of Amuse Korea in 2021, and since 2024, has concurrently overseen Shinsegae International’s Vidivici (Label4).

Honggeuk Kim, CEO of the Ja-ju Division, was born in 1964. He graduated from the Economics Department at Kyung Hee University in 1991 and joined Shinsegae in 1996. He has since served as Head of Home Appliance Specialization at the MD Strategy Headquarters of Emart, Head of MD Strategy at the Strategy Headquarters, and Deputy CEO of the Product Division at Emart. Since 2018, he has served as CEO of Shinsegae TV Shopping, CEO of Shinsegae Live Shopping in 2022, CEO of Shinsegae Casa in 2022, and in 2024, as CEO of the Beauty & Life Division at Shinsegae International while concurrently serving as CEO of Shinsegae Casa.
