According to the county on September 26, this tour was planned under the slogan "Stay Samnye" as part of a four-year (2025-2028) stay-type tourism project, which was launched after being selected for the Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province Premium Tourism Destination Development Contest.

In the first session, 15 social media influencers, including a YouTuber with 500,000 subscribers, participated and enjoyed a unique time of learning and relaxation amidst the nature, culture, and history unique to Samnye.

The participants toured major attractions in Samnye, such as the Samnye Culture and Arts Village, Samnye Book Village, and Bibijeong, guided by a local storyteller who provided engaging commentary. They also enjoyed the Samnye brand creative performance "The Secret of a Drop" along with a Makgeolli-themed dinner, experiencing the history, culture, and cuisine of Samnye.

In particular, at Bibijeong, participants listened to pre-selected music through silent headsets against the backdrop of the sunset. The Mangyeong River moonlight walk and Samnye-style chicken and beer at the Hong Stay guesthouse offered a uniquely special experience that combined the stunning natural beauty and culture of the Mangyeong River area.

On the morning of the second day, participants restored balance to body and mind with singing bowl yoga meditation on the lawn of the Samnye Culture and Arts Village, then visited Samnye’s most popular restaurants, recharging with new energy away from daily routines. Throughout the tour, participants experienced both learning and healing, sharing the charm of Samnye through their social media channels.

One of the influencers commented, "This tour, which combined learning and healing, was a great inspiration in my daily life. I would highly recommend the newly discovered Samnye to many people. With its unique and well-crafted program, I believe Samnye will become a popular tourist destination that cannot be experienced anywhere else."

County Governor Yoo Heetae stated, "The Samnye Culture and Arts Village has taken its first step toward becoming a true stay-type tourist destination, rather than just a place people pass by. We plan to continue introducing diverse content that blends Samnye’s history, nature, and culture."

Meanwhile, the county plans to incorporate feedback from this pilot program and will recruit participants for a total of five public tours from next month through November. For applications and inquiries, please contact the Culture Village Team of the Culture and History Division at Wanju County.
