According to the county on the 26th, the event is being held sequentially at Seoul Plaza (September 24-26), Magok Plaza in Gangseo District, Seoul (September 25-26), Yangcheon Park in Seoul (September 25-26), Busanjin District Office (September 29-30), and Mapo District Office in Seoul (September 30-October 1).
Fifteen companies, including Imsil Cheese Cluster, Imsil Livestock Cooperative, and local farms, are participating to offer over 100 products-such as cheese and dairy, meat, traditional sauces, and Korean traditional sweets-at prices 10 to 20 percent lower than retail.
In particular, at the direct trade event held at Magok Plaza in Gangseo District on the 25th and 26th, more than 50 members of the Imsil County Residents Association in Seoul participated, purchasing and promoting the county's agricultural and specialty products. Their efforts contributed to expanding distribution channels and increasing income for hometown farms, as well as actively participating in the Jeonbuk Love Resident Card program and the Hometown Love Donation initiative.
Additionally, public relations staff from the county office actively promoted the 2025 Visit Imsil Year, Imsil County's official social media channels, and the Hometown Love Donation program to raise awareness of Imsil County.
The county expects that this event will widely promote high-quality agricultural and specialty products from the clean region of Imsil to urban consumers, provide them at reasonable prices to ease the burden of Chuseok preparations, and simultaneously contribute to expanding sales channels for farms and revitalizing the local economy.
County Governor Shim Min said, "This is a meaningful opportunity to directly introduce Imsil's outstanding agricultural and specialty products to urban consumers for Chuseok," adding, "We will continue to increase farm income and further enhance the brand value of Imsil County's agricultural and specialty products through ongoing marketing efforts in major cities."
