Busan Office of Education to Hold Parent Communication and Empathy Talk Concert

The Busan Metropolitan Office of Education (Superintendent Kim Seokjun) announced that it will hold a "Parent Communication and Empathy Talk Concert" on September 30 at the Grand Moment Classic Hall in Daeyeon-dong, Nam-gu, for approximately 400 parents of kindergarten, daycare center, and first and second grade elementary school students.

This event is part of the "Community-Based Early Childhood Education and Childcare Innovation Support Project," which aims to make Busan a better place to raise and educate children. It is designed to help parents who face difficulties and concerns in raising their children to explore proper parenting roles with experts and strengthen their parenting capabilities.

The concert will begin with a cultural performance by the popera group La Classe, followed by a special lecture titled "Raising Children with Strong Souls" by Professor Cho Sunmi from the Department of Psychiatry at Ajou University School of Medicine.

Professor Cho will share practical disciplinary strategies that balance love and principles, helping parents understand their children's hidden emotions through real-life examples.

Superintendent Kim Seokjun stated, "This talk concert will provide parents with inspiration and healing, helping them grow into good and happy parents. We will actively support the growth of warm families and healthy children by offering parents a variety of opportunities for learning and communication."
