Yongin City: "Rest Assured About Emergency Medical Care During Chuseok Holiday"

Emergency Medical Care System to Operate from October 3 to 9

Yongin City in Gyeonggi Province announced on September 26 that it will establish an emergency medical care system for seven days from October 3 to 9 in order to minimize medical service gaps and prepare for emergency cases during the Chuseok holiday period.

During this period, the regional emergency medical centers-Davos Hospital, Gangnam Hospital, and Yongin Severance Hospital-as well as the emergency medical institution Yongin Seoul Hospital, will operate their emergency rooms 24 hours a day. Designated hospitals, clinics, and pharmacies will also be open on specified dates.


For pediatric patients, two Moonlight Children’s Hospitals-Gangnam Hospital and Yongin Children’s Hospital-will provide outpatient pediatric care for mild cases. Gangnam Hospital will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and Yongin Children’s Hospital from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. during this period.


For nighttime and holiday pediatric care in underserved areas, Wellbom Pediatric Clinic (October 3 and 9, 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.) and Haneulbit Children’s Hospital (9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., closed on Sundays) will be operating.

It is also available through the Emergency Medical Information Center website, the Ministry of Health and Welfare Call Center (129), and the Emergency Situation Management Center (119).
