The National Research Institute of Cultural Heritage under the Cultural Heritage Administration and Voluntary Agency Network of Korea (VANK) will sign a business agreement on the 26th in the main conference room of the institute to promote cooperation in protecting, utilizing, and publicizing research achievements related to Korean cultural heritage.

To deliver accurate information to the world, the two organizations will jointly implement the "AI Cultural Heritage Ambassador Training Project," which aims to correct distorted content about Korean cultural heritage generated by generative artificial intelligence (AI). In addition, VANK will utilize its platform to publicize the institute's major research achievements both domestically and internationally.

Founded in 1999, VANK has trained youth, young adults, and overseas Koreans as global ambassadors for Korea. The organization works to correct distortions about Korean history in foreign textbooks and on international websites, operates a global petition platform for historical and cultural policy proposals, and actively promotes Korea worldwide.

A representative from the National Research Institute of Cultural Heritage stated, "Through this agreement, we will expand the protection and utilization of cultural heritage and enhance the promotion of our research achievements."
