Photo Zone, Stamp Tour, Souvenir Gifts, and More
The Jinan County Tourism Association will operate a special experience space, the 'Come Visit Ppamang's House' pop-up store, featuring the county's official character 'Ppamang' during the Jinan Red Ginseng Festival from September 26 to 28.
According to the county on September 25, the pop-up store will be open at the Maisan Traveler Center from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., offering unforgettable fun and unique experiences to visitors attending the festival.
The pop-up store will be designed as a multi-purpose promotional space combining experiences, exhibitions, and play, targeting children and families.
Main programs include: ▲Ppamang photo zone ▲Stamp tour (photo mission, social media event, survey participation) ▲Souvenir gifts for completing the tour ▲Polaroid photo sessions for early visitors, and more.
Recently, the county has given 'Ppamang' a stylish and friendly makeover, drawing significant attention. Ppamang's diverse facial expressions and playful gestures, which change depending on the situation and location, are especially loved by children. The pop-up store is expected to bring these features to life even more vividly.
In particular, a kids' cafe will be open to the public free of charge during the Red Ginseng Festival, allowing children and parents visiting the festival to enjoy a more comfortable time.
The association expects this program to create special memories for family visitors and to serve as an opportunity to showcase new attractions of Jinan tourism.
Lee Jaedong, director of the Jinan County Tourism Association, said, "Ppamang is our county's representative character, embodying Jinan's local specialties and cultural uniqueness. This pop-up store will be more than just an experience-it will be an opportunity to showcase Jinan's unique tourism resources."
