Expanding Extended Stays with Accommodation Sale Festa, Flower Festivals, and Jazz Festival

The county is currently participating in the "2025 Korea Accommodation Sale Festa: Special Disaster Area Edition," organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Tourism Organization, and is promoting accommodation discounts. As Gapyeong County has been designated a special disaster area, guests who stay for at least one night until October 30 can receive a discount of up to 50,000 won on accommodation. The county plans to use this opportunity to actively encourage travelers from the Seoul metropolitan area and across the country to enjoy extended stays in Gapyeong.
Signature autumn festivals are also being held in abundance. The "2025 Jarasum Autumn Flower Festa" opened on September 13 and will run until October 12 at the Jarasum Namdo Riverside Garden. The festival features a spectacular display of autumn flowers covering approximately 100,000 square meters, along with a variety of hands-on programs that are receiving an enthusiastic response from family visitors.
Following this, the world-renowned "Jarasum Jazz Festival" will take place from October 17 to 19. Top artists from Korea and abroad will participate, presenting high-quality performances that blend perfectly with the deepening autumn atmosphere. Attracting tens of thousands of visitors every year, this festival has established itself as Korea's leading global music event. During this period, "Jazz Festival in Gapyeong" will also be held at various locations throughout the county, including Jatgoeul Square, Music Station 1939, Hongnong Seedling Junction, Seokbong-ro, and Jarasum Seodo. These diverse stages will provide both residents and tourists with opportunities to enjoy jazz in their daily lives.
A Gapyeong County official stated, "With our participation in the Accommodation Sale Festa: Special Disaster Area Edition, the burden of accommodation costs for tourists has been greatly reduced. This is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the unique charm of Gapyeong, where autumn flowers and jazz come together, through an extended stay. We hope many people will visit Gapyeong this autumn and create unforgettable travel memories."
