Seo-gu has prepared a total of 31 measures closely related to residents' daily lives, including infectious disease prevention and emergency medical care systems, inspections to prepare for natural disasters such as typhoons and heatwaves, safety management of popular Chuseok foods, price control and fuel supply, environmental maintenance, guidance and enforcement against illegal parking, and the operation of the 365 Civil Service Center.

During the holiday period, a comprehensive situation room will be set up and operated to respond promptly to issues in areas such as sanitation, disasters and emergencies, medical care, and civil services. Household waste will be collected as usual throughout the holiday, except from October 5 to 7. Additionally, a campaign to improve food culture will be conducted to prevent littering and reduce excessive holiday meal preparations.

For residents' convenience, 22 unmanned civil document issuance machines will operate normally, and the 365 Civil Service Center inside Lotte Mart Max in Sangmu District will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. during the holiday period.

Measures to support the welfare of marginalized neighbors will also be implemented. Using big data, Seo-gu will identify households in crisis and build a robust welfare safety net through the operation of a human safety network and mobile safety care services. Meal support for children at risk of missing meals and safety inspections of senior welfare facilities will also be carried out.

Previously, Seo-gu District conducted safety inspections of road lighting and multi-use facilities, as well as a district-wide cleanup in each neighborhood, as preemptive measures for a safe and pleasant holiday.

Kim Ikang, head of Seo-gu District, stated, "We will do our utmost on the ground to ensure everyone can enjoy a safe and warm holiday," adding, "We will focus our administrative resources so that residents and visitors can spend the Chuseok holiday without worry and in peace."
