An incident occurred at a foreigner-only casino in Jeju where a group of Chinese guests staged a collective protest, causing a major disturbance that prompted a police response.

On the 24th, Jeju Seobu Police Station announced that at around 5:30 p.m. that day, the casino at a hotel in Nohyeong-dong, Jeju City, reported to the police that "about 50 guests are causing a disturbance."

It was found that a Chinese customer became dissatisfied with a dealer's mistake during a casino game and protested, at which point other Chinese guests joined in, escalating the situation into a tense confrontation.

Responding to the report, the police apprehended a Chinese man in his 50s on charges of assault and obstruction of business. They also detained two additional Chinese men in their 30s on charges of assault and are currently investigating them.

These individuals are accused of inciting others to disrupt business operations and assaulting three casino security guards.

The police have secured closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage and are investigating the specific circumstances of the incident.
