Everland is emerging as a popular destination for autumn outings, gaining enthusiastic responses for its diverse ongoing events.

On September 24, Samsung C&T Resort Group announced that approximately 250,000 visitors have attended the "Everland of Oz" autumn festival, which began on September 5.

The festival, running through November 16, offers a wide range of sensory experiences inspired by the world of "The Wizard of Oz," including character-themed zones, performances, food, and merchandise. In addition, new attractions such as the "K-Pop Demon Hunters" theme zone, based on the globally popular Netflix animated film, and the "Memory Carnival" escape room, which is especially popular among Millennials & Gen Z, will open on September 26, drawing even more attention from visitors.

The "Everland of Oz" autumn festival features a variety of interactive experiences, from the bright and cheerful Emerald City to the dark and chilling Blood City, catering to diverse preferences. The 1900 fantasy novel "The Wizard of Oz" tells the story of Dorothy, who is swept away by a tornado to the Land of Oz and embarks on an adventure to return home, meeting friends like the Scarecrow, Tin Man, and Cowardly Lion along the way. Reflecting this, the Four Seasons Garden has been transformed into Emerald City, with vibrant character-themed zones for the Scarecrow, Tin Man, Cowardly Lion, and more, allowing visitors to fully immerse themselves in the world of Oz. Throughout the garden, guests can find photo spots such as Dorothy's tornado-struck house, the hot air balloon of the Wizard of Oz, and a Cowardly Lion topiary made of autumn flowers. There are also various interactive experiences based on the story, including AI-powered four-cut photo booths, escape room missions, blocks, and wish cards.

During the "Smiley Pumpkin Parade," Everland characters transform into the main characters of "The Wizard of Oz" and march alongside dancers. Two "RBQ Series" quadruped robots from robotics company Rainbow Robotics participate as parade members, leading the procession. The fusion of advanced robotics technology and entertainment offers a unique spectacle that has become a hit with visitors. In addition, the Four Seasons Garden hosts three to four photo sessions daily, where the Oz characters and dancers perform and take pictures with guests.

The horror-themed Blood City zone offers a more chilling and unique fright experience this year by reinterpreting the original "The Wizard of Oz." At the entrance, visitors are greeted by a giant sculpture of a witch's legs in purple shoes (ABR), and in the center stands an 8-meter-tall watchtower resembling a cursed witch's eyeball, drawing attention.

The live horror dance performance "Crazy Zombie Hunt in Oz," featuring Dorothy and her friends turned into zombies by the Wicked Witch of the East's curse, takes place twice nightly. Other diverse experiences include the "Horror Maze," where guests must escape a dark labyrinth while evading zombies; "Witch's Makeup Studio," where visitors can try Oz or zombie-themed makeup; and the "Oz AI Photo Studio," where photos transform guests into Oz characters.

On September 26, the "K-Pop Demon Hunters" theme zone will open at Everland. This collaboration between Everland and Netflix allows guests to fully immerse themselves in the world of popular characters such as Huntrix and Lion Boys, as well as K-Bunsik, through a variety of attractions available until the end of the year.

The theme zone is located in the festival content area of Everland, where major scenes from the film and popular OSTs like "Golden" and "Soda Pop" are played all day on a large LED screen. Unique photo zones feature character illustrations, life-size cutouts, and a giant art installation of the tiger character Duffy (ABR). There are also interactive zones where visitors can experience the stories of Huntrix and Lion Boys through mission-based games and interactive photo booths.

Other attractions include the "Oops Challenge," where visitors imitate Duffy by picking up fallen flower pots, and a dance rhythm game where guests step to the beats of Huntrix and Lion Boys' hit songs. The nearby Snack Buster restaurant will be transformed into "Lion Boys' Favorite Bunsik Restaurant" through the end of the year, offering a variety of K-Bunsik dishes such as ramen and gimbap. Special menu items inspired by the rival groups in the film, including the Huntrix Set, Lion Boys Set, and Soda Pop Ade, will provide a unique and entertaining culinary experience.

A food truck designed as a "reverse fan support snack cart" from Huntrix and Lion Boys will offer fun snack options for fans. The "K-Pop Demon Hunters" merchandise shop, themed after the memorable subway battle scene, will feature 38 types of limited-edition goods exclusive to Everland, including character keyrings, magnets, cushions, Panda x Duffy costume dolls, and Duffy embroidered hats, released sequentially.

To celebrate the autumn festival, Everland will also launch the new immersive escape adventure "Memory Carnival" on September 26. In collaboration with Korea's leading escape room brand Key Escape, Everland has created Memory Carnival to offer an unrivaled large-scale escape experience in a theme park setting.

The world of "Memory Company," Key Escape's signature story, has been expanded with a new narrative tailored for Everland. The former Raptor Ranger area, covering approximately 1,450 square meters, has been transformed into a massive indoor-outdoor escape adventure zone with 14 different rooms.

Memory Carnival follows a storyline set in a village home to a company that stores all human memories on tapes, with a festival taking place. There are three different escape programs to choose from, and each can be experienced by teams of one to six people. Reservations can be made in advance on the Everland website or on-site.
