A Variety of Attractions Including Drone Light Show, Hands-On Experiences, and Performances
Ulju County in Ulsan will host the '2025 Ulju Drone Festival' on September 27 at the Jakcheonjeong Multipurpose Plaza and surrounding area.
This event is a comprehensive festival that everyone can enjoy, featuring a fireworks drone light show, drone and robot experiences, exhibitions, performances, and more.
The performances will begin at 7:50 p.m., with singers Zaza, Bae Kisung, and Kim Soyeon taking the stage. Local performing arts groups Hasil Band and Music Factory Delight will also participate, presenting a diverse array of performances.
Then, starting at 9:00 p.m., a fireworks drone light show featuring a total of 1,000 drones will brilliantly illuminate the night sky over Jakcheonjeong. The three-dimensional and dynamic drone displays, combined with harmonious music, are expected to provide the audience with a unique and moving experience.
The experience and exhibition programs are also extensive. Activities include three types of drone piloting experiences; a robot exhibition (featuring quadruped robots, robot artists, and humanoid robots); 3D pen activities; 3D printing of mini model drones; leather craft making; an eco-friendly wooden playground; scratch paper and eco-bag coloring activities themed on the Banguchon Rock Carvings. In addition, a food truck zone and flea market will be operated, further enhancing the festival atmosphere.
There will also be a special drone deregulation zone and an exhibition hall linked to the drone demonstration city project, as well as a drone company promotional hall, where visitors can directly experience advanced drone technologies and learn about the current state of the drone industry in Ulju County.
An Ulju County official said, "We hope everyone will enjoy cutting-edge drone technology, spectacular drone shows, and a variety of experiences and performances at this drone festival held in Ulju, Korea's leading standard city for drones."
