Hanwha Construction Division has received the Asia Economy Grand Prize in the Design category at the 2025 Asia Construction Awards. This achievement highlights the company’s excellence in design innovation for residential products and its ability to create differentiated spatial value.

Since launching its apartment brand 'Forena' in 2019, Hanwha Construction Division has rapidly grown into a premium brand. The company has gone beyond creating simple residential spaces, developing landmark complexes in key cities and showcasing projects with outstanding design. Hanwha Construction Division is particularly recognized for leading new trends in exterior design, landscaping, and community planning.

Hanwha Construction Division is once again pursuing design differentiation with the launch of 'Hanwha Forena Ulsan Mugeo' in Mugeo-dong, Nam-gu, Ulsan. This project involves redeveloping the former Hanwha Chemical company housing site, which was once highly coveted by Ulsan residents. The complex will consist of eight buildings, ranging from three basement levels to 25 above-ground floors, with a total of 816 units sized between 84 and 166 square meters. Notably, the 84-square-meter unit, which is the most popular standard size, accounts for 72% of the total, meeting the demand of actual homebuyers.

From a design perspective, the complex is oriented mainly to the south to maximize sunlight and ventilation. All parking is located underground, allowing the ground level to be designed primarily for pedestrians and landscaping, ensuring both safety and a sense of openness. In particular, the 25th floor will feature Ulsan’s first sky lounge, providing residents with unique views and leisure space.

Additionally, the large community area, covering approximately 3,600 square meters, will include a guest house, laundry cafe, and dedicated children’s spaces, among other facilities. Every unit will be equipped with a private storage room to enhance space utilization, and the Blue Air System will be installed to maintain fresh air both inside and outside the units at all times.

The location also offers excellent infrastructure. Green spaces such as Ulsan Grand Park, Namsan Neighborhood Park, and Taehwagang National Garden are nearby, and the Okdong education district is accessible within 10 minutes by car. Around the complex, there are more than ten schools, including Samho Elementary School, Okhyeon Elementary School, and Samho Middle School, providing an outstanding educational environment.

The transportation network is convenient as well. Major arterial roads such as the Southern Ring Road, Munsu-ro, Ulsan Expressway, Donghae Expressway, and Down 2 Tunnel are all nearby, making travel within and outside the city easy. Furthermore, the future opening of Ulsan Tram Lines 1 and 4, as well as the Ulsan-Yangsan-Busan metropolitan railway, is expected to further improve the transportation environment.
