According to Gwangju Shinsegae on September 21, the multi-brand shoe store "Platform," located in the Shinsegae Play Spot, is the first in the Honam region to offer the American brand Kizik, which can be worn without using your hands or a shoehorn. The shoes feature patented hands-free technology, making them easy to put on and take off. Nike was an early investor in Kizik's parent company, HandsFree Labs, and this technology has also been applied to some Nike product lines. Gwangju Shinsegae recommends the "Athenae" model for pregnant women.

On the same floor, the multi-brand shoe store "YConcept" is selling Wingsfoot's Fingerfree shoes. Thanks to a sturdy heel, these shoes can be worn without using your hands, while the soft materials and anti-slip rubber patches provide comfort and stability for pregnant women.

At the Skechers store, the Slip-Ins line has received positive reviews among pregnant customers. A wide-fit line is also available to accommodate swollen feet. At the New Balance store, the 740 model, made from mesh material, is gaining popularity. Its lightweight and breathable design offers a comfortable fit and matches a variety of styles, making it a steady seller.

Lee Jeongil, manager of the new building team at Gwangju Shinsegae, said, "In addition to Skechers, which is known as the epitome of comfortable shoes, we are also introducing products that feature differentiated technologies and materials, such as Kizik. We hope customers will find the shoes that best suit them at Gwangju Shinsegae."
