Kumho Construction’s Premium Residential Brand “Dogok Athera” Achieves 100% Sell-Out

“Dogok Athera,” a Kumho Construction project in Gangnam, Seoul, which announced its sales at the end of August, has sold out within a short period, achieving a 100% sales rate for all available units.


Industry analysts say this once again proves the brand power of “Athera,” which has successfully established itself in the market just one year after its launch. The project’s strong product features and prime location have attracted both genuine homebuyers and investors.


The development is located at 547-1 Dogok-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul. In the first-round subscription held on August 29, the project recorded an average competition rate of 145.4 to 1. Notably, for the exclusive 76㎡G type, 351 applicants vied for a single unit, resulting in the highest competition rate of 351 to 1.


The complex consists of 82 units ranging from 44㎡ to 84㎡ of exclusive space, across two basement levels and seven above-ground floors. It has drawn attention as the first “Athera” branded project to be introduced in Gangnam.


Launched by Kumho Construction in May 2024 after more than 20 years, “Athera” is a new residential brand that combines art (ART), land (TERRA), and era (ERA). The brand has become a guarantee of success, as demonstrated by the overwhelming number of subscription accounts for other projects such as “Cheongju Technopolis Athera,” “Geomdan Athera Xi,” and “Janghang Athera.”


Located in a prime area of Gangnam, “Dogok Athera” benefits from a “triple station area” with proximity to Seoul Subway Lines 2 and 3, as well as the Shinbundang Line. It is expected to be the biggest beneficiary of the premium business district, which is home to major corporate headquarters, IT companies, and startups.


Furthermore, large-scale development projects such as the underground complex development of Yeongdong-daero and the Hyundai Motor Global Business Center (GBC) are expected to further enhance the area’s future value.


Residents will have convenient access to Gangnam Severance Hospital, Lotte Department Store, Emart, and downtown commercial districts. The area is also close to Yeoksam Elementary School, Eonju Elementary School, top-tier middle and high schools in the “8 School District,” and the renowned Daechi-dong private education district.


A Kumho Construction representative stated, “The new residential brand Athera is gaining immense popularity, ranking fourth among 26 apartment brands in Korea according to big data research by the Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute. We will do our utmost to ensure that Athera becomes a landmark that leads local real estate prices in each region.”
