Neofect announced on September 19 that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Silverstory, a company specializing in senior care, to supply its rehabilitation medical devices to nursing homes and adult day care centers operated as franchises.
Through this MOU, Neofect plans to give priority in supplying its rehabilitation medical device solutions-including the Smart Table, a device supporting cognitive training and leisure activities-to nursing homes and adult day care centers being promoted by Silverstory. The Smart Table, Neofect's flagship product, has been recognized for its competitive pricing compared to rivals and its strong potential for future content expansion.
The two companies also plan to broaden the scope of their collaboration to include software development, installation, user training, and mutual consulting, thereby facilitating information exchange and program improvement that reflect actual on-site needs. Neofect intends to actively gather feedback from real users to continuously enhance product features and improve overall quality.
Silverstory is a leading senior care franchise in Korea, operating dozens of nursing homes and adult day care centers nationwide. The company is rapidly growing by offering customized programs for the elderly, such as dementia prevention, tailored rehabilitation, and health monitoring. This year, Silverstory plans to open one or two additional centers, and next year, it aims to establish more than ten new centers.
Neofect plans to finalize its delivery schedule within this year and supply products sequentially. The company expects that this agreement will further strengthen its position in the nursing and care market. Through Silverstory’s nationwide franchise network, the distribution of Neofect’s products is also expected to accelerate.
A Neofect representative stated, "Signing this MOU marks an important turning point in expanding our presence in the senior care market. Through collaboration with Silverstory, we will supply a variety of rehabilitation medical devices and further solidify our market position." The representative added, "As society ages rapidly, we are preparing an integrated senior service that combines medical devices with life care services."
