On September 19, Gwangju and South Jeolla Province are expected to experience cloudy weather throughout the day, with rainfall ranging from 20 to 60 millimeters.
According to the Gwangju Regional Meteorological Administration, the region will initially be on the edge of a high-pressure system located over the northern East Sea, but from the afternoon until September 20, it will come under the influence of a low-pressure system moving eastward over the West Sea. The anticipated precipitation is between 20 and 60 millimeters.
Morning lows will range from 18 to 21 degrees Celsius, and daytime highs will reach up to 27 degrees Celsius. Waves in the coastal waters of the West Sea and South Sea will reach 1.5 meters, and the concentration of ultrafine dust will remain at a 'good' level.
An official from the Korea Meteorological Administration advised, "In areas experiencing rain, visibility will be reduced and some roads may be slippery," and urged, "Please drive at reduced speeds and pay close attention to traffic safety to prevent accidents such as rear-end collisions."
