This visit was part of the "Construction Equipment Capability Enhancement Invitation Training" program organized by the Korea Construction Equipment Manufacturers Association and the Korea Construction Equipment Research Institute. From September 15 to 21, the delegation is visiting Korea to share expertise related to reconstruction, including equipment operation and maintenance, disaster recovery, and eco-friendly construction technologies.
Before the war, HD Hyundai Infracore and HD Hyundai Construction Equipment held the top two market shares in the Ukrainian construction equipment market. Since then, they have maintained close cooperation, including equipment supply, throughout the postwar reconstruction projects.
On the same day, the Ukrainian delegation also toured the HD Hyundai Heavy Industries shipyard dock and the HD Hyundai Electric transformer factory, gaining insights into Korea's industrial development experience. On September 16, the delegation held a conference at the HD Hyundai Global R&D Center in Pangyo, Seongnam, where they discussed the establishment of a construction equipment training center and educational training plans.

Through these initiatives, the company intends to help train local talent and lay the foundation for expanding its aftermarket (AM) business in Ukraine.
Cho Youngcheol, President of HD Hyundai Site Solution, stated, "Korean construction equipment has been at the forefront of recovery efforts at disaster sites around the world. This cooperation will serve as an opportunity to build a sustainable partnership through education and technology transfer."
Vice Minister Maryna Denysiuk said, "The industrial development experience we have witnessed in Korea will be a valuable asset for postwar reconstruction. I hope that cooperation with HD Hyundai will contribute to Ukraine's recovery and growth."
