Embraer, the world’s third-largest aircraft manufacturer, visited Sacheon and Busan to expand discussions on cooperation with Korean aerospace companies.

KOTRA (Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency), Sacheon City, the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, and the Space Aviation Agency jointly hosted the "Embraer Partnering Week" from September 17 to 19, organizing a series of industrial site visits, briefing sessions, and one-on-one business meetings.

Embraer is a global aerospace company headquartered in Brazil, covering the entire process from the design, development, manufacturing, sales, to service of aircraft and systems. In particular, as the world’s leading manufacturer of commercial passenger jets with fewer than 150 seats, Embraer has maintained close cooperation with Korean companies since the launch of its E-Jets E2 commercial aircraft. In 2023, Embraer signed a contract to supply the C-390 Millennium multi-mission transport aircraft to the Republic of Korea Air Force, further expanding opportunities for Korean companies to enter the supply chain through offset cooperation.
