Paju's Largest Business Festival
188 Companies Gather in One Place
The festival "Made in Paju! 2025 2nd Paju City Business Expo," where local businesses and citizens come together, will be held at Imjingak Square for three days from September 19 to 21.
This expo is organized to promote the excellence of local businesses by having 188 companies from the region participate, showcasing products by sector and operating hands-on experience zones. It also aims to revitalize the local economy by providing a venue for business networking.
Notably, this year marks the first time an export consultation event will be held, with 25 participating companies from the expo and 15 overseas purchasing companies (buyers) invited from seven countries: Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Japan, and Australia.
By surveying the interests of companies and buyers in advance and conducting one-on-one consultations, the likelihood of contract success is expected to increase, enabling local businesses to achieve tangible export results and laying the foundation for entering the global market.
The opening ceremony will take place at 3 p.m. on September 20, featuring lively pre-ceremony performances such as cheerleading, DJing, beatboxing, and b-boying to officially kick off the expo. In addition, there will be hands-on zones for making upcycled keychains and plaster air fresheners, and visitors who participate in the stamp tour set up throughout the venue can receive gifts and prize draw tickets on a first-come, first-served basis.
Choi Daeil, head of the Business Support Division, stated, "This expo has been planned as a comprehensive festival where businesses, citizens, and buyers all participate," adding, "We hope citizens will visit with family and friends to experience a variety of company products firsthand and enjoy exciting performances and activities together."
