On the 17th, the G-Star Organizing Committee announced the detailed schedule for "G-Star 2025," including major participating companies and programs.
The Business-to-Consumer (BTC) exhibition will be held until the 16th on the first floor of Exhibition Halls 1 and 2, while the Business-to-Business (BTB) exhibition will take place on the third floor of Exhibition Hall 2 until the 15th. As of August 31, a total of 3,010 booths are scheduled to be installed.
NCSoft will set up the largest space in Exhibition Hall 1, with 300 booths, to provide an immersive environment for new game demos and offer a variety of interactive events. Krafton, Netmarble, Gravity, Google Korea, and Webzen will also establish large booths in Exhibition Hall 1. In the BTB exhibition area, Nexxus, Samsung Electronics, Smilegate, and Tencent Korea will set up booths to meet with domestic and international industry professionals.
The organizing committee will expand the scale of the indie game exhibition "Indie Showcase 2.0: Galaxy," which was introduced last year to commemorate the 20th anniversary of G-Star. The plan is to establish indie content as another key pillar of G-Star and to strengthen connections with the global indie ecosystem.
G-Star's main conference, G-CON, will be held for two days starting on the opening day, the 13th. This year's conference theme is "Narrative," bringing together creators not only from games but also from film, webtoons, and animation to explore the power of storytelling.
In particular, key developers of globally acclaimed titles such as "Dragon Quest," "Final Fantasy," "Baldur's Gate 3," and "Clair Obscur: Expedition 33," as well as leading creators from various fields, will participate to share their experiences and philosophies.
The organizing committee also unveiled the official key visual for this year's G-Star. Comic artist Moon Jeonghoo, known for works such as "Yongbi the Invincible," "Gosu," and "Asura," participated in its creation. The key visual will be used at the offline exhibition site, on online platforms, and in various campaigns and promotional activities. Moving forward, the committee plans to collaborate with a new artist each year to create unique content for G-Star's key visual.
Cho Youngki, Chairman of the G-Star Organizing Committee, stated, "Celebrating its 21st anniversary, this year's G-Star marks an important starting point for the next 20 years of the gaming industry's journey. Based on this exhibition, we will do our utmost to lead innovation and growth in the global gaming industry and to widely promote the limitless potential and future vision of games."
Meanwhile, G-Star admission tickets can be reserved through the official website and application starting from the 14th of next month.
