Nespresso Launches "Machine Cleanup" Cleaning Service... "Perfect Maintenance Down to the Interior"

On September 16, Nespresso announced the launch of its professional machine cleaning service, "Machine Cleanup."

This service involves collecting the customer's device and having a professional technician disassemble and clean not only the exterior but also the interior. The technician removes mineral deposits and limescale accumulated inside the machine and replaces some key components that come into direct contact with coffee, enabling more hygienic and professional maintenance.


Machine Cleanup is especially useful for customers who are using their machine again after a long time, those who feel that their coffee no longer tastes as good as before, or those who tend to neglect regular cleaning or want meticulous maintenance. To ensure customers can continue enjoying coffee while their machine is being serviced, a rental machine is provided during the cleanup period.


This service is available free of charge with the purchase of either 150 Original capsules or 120 Vertuo capsules, and during the service period, customers also receive a complimentary machine rental service valued at 22,000 won. However, duplicate use of the same service within one year is restricted. Vertuo line customers will receive a Vertuo machine for rental, while Original line customers will receive both a Vertuo machine and coffee for rental and use.


The base fee for the service is 90,000 won, but Nespresso Club members who have purchased coffee within the past year can use the service for 48,000 won. Customers without a coffee purchase history can also receive the same discount by purchasing 60 capsules and consenting to the use of their information for marketing purposes.

In addition to Machine Cleanup, Nespresso offers machine maintenance solutions to ensure customers can always enjoy perfect coffee taste and aroma according to their needs. The "Descaling Kit" is designed for customers who wish to manage mineral deposits inside their machine themselves. It is recommended for use every six months, based on extracting 40 cups per week, and can be purchased on the official Nespresso website, in boutiques, or through Naver Smart Store.


The "Repair Service" is available when the machine breaks down. Defects occurring within the warranty period are repaired free of charge. The service includes repairs for damage and functional defects, as well as replacement of worn parts, and a rental machine is provided during the repair period. For devices out of warranty, the base fee is 100,000 won, but Nespresso Club members with a coffee purchase history within the past year can use the service for 55,000 won. Customers without a coffee purchase history can also receive the same benefit by purchasing 60 capsules and agreeing to the use of their information for marketing purposes.


Both the Machine Cleanup and Repair Service can be easily requested through the official website, mobile app, or the Nespresso Club customer center.
