Stock Price Up 200% This Year
Participating in K-Humanoid Alliance and National Robot Test Field Solution Development

Clobot, an autonomous robot service provider, reached its highest stock price since its listing in October last year. Expectations for Clobot appear to have grown as robot-related stocks have attracted attention in the domestic stock market.

According to the financial investment industry on September 16, Clobot's stock price has risen by 200% so far this year. The stock, which hovered around 8,000 won at the end of last year, has surpassed 26,000 won. During trading the previous day, it reached as high as 28,050 won, setting a new all-time high since its listing.

Clobot Hits Record High Since IPO... Robot Sales on the Rise

Founded in 2017, Clobot is a service robot software development company. It succeeded in commercializing Korea's first general-purpose autonomous navigation solution and robot control solution for indoor autonomous robots. On October 28 last year, it entered the KOSDAQ market with an initial public offering price of 13,000 won. Within two months of listing, the stock price dropped to around 5,000 won, but it has steadily trended upward since the beginning of this year. As the company continues to grow in scale, its corporate value also appears to be increasing.

On a consolidated basis, Clobot achieved sales of 12.7 billion won in the first half of this year, up 10.4% from the same period last year. Sales increased as demand grew for high-quality data utilization in the robot service sector. During the same period, operating loss and net loss were 5.2 billion won and 4.3 billion won, respectively, with the scale of losses decreasing compared to the previous year.

Since its listing, Clobot has participated in the 'K-Humanoid Alliance' and the National Robot Test Field Solution Development Project. The company is advancing digital twin-based robot learning and verification technology, and strengthening its physical artificial intelligence (AI)-based robot service capabilities through data-driven learning. The K-Humanoid Alliance is a collaborative project in which major domestic companies in AI, robotics, components, and end-user sectors jointly develop technology. The goal is for the government, industry, and research institutions to create a Korean-style general-purpose humanoid robot ecosystem and secure leadership in overseas markets.

Clobot, which is collaborating with companies such as Boston Dynamics and Rainbow Robotics, continues to identify potential partners within the robotics industry and maximize synergy effects. By partnering with SK Group's robotics brand NamuX, it has also entered the home robot service market. Last month, Clobot supplied the quadruped robot 'SPOT' to Korea Zinc's Onsan Smelter, establishing a safety management system to prevent major industrial accidents. Clobot integrated high-performance sensors and an AI analysis system into SPOT, building a smart safety solution that can detect gas leaks and fire hazards in industrial sites in real time and prevent accidents at an early stage.

A Clobot representative explained, "As industrial safety becomes increasingly important, Clobot's smart robot solutions can play a key role in enhancing safety response at industrial sites."

Yoon Cheolhwan, a researcher at Korea Investment & Securities, predicted, "Clobot is expected to achieve sales of 47.1 billion won this year," adding, "With a 40.7% increase in sales compared to last year, the scale of operating losses will be reduced."
