Smart Safety Features Such as E-STOP Unveiled for the First Time

This demonstration took place over four days from September 8 to 11 (local time) at the Seine Canal project site in Compi?gne, France, under the supervision of the French construction safety prevention association OPPBTP, which operates under the Ministry of Labor. At the site, smart safety technologies such as rollover risk alerts, 360-degree around monitoring, and the emergency braking feature 'E-STOP' were showcased. E-STOP is a system that automatically stops the equipment when it detects people or objects nearby, and it is planned to be applied to mass production starting next year.
HD Hyundai Infracore invited major French construction companies, including Bouygues and Eiffage, to the demonstration to introduce its technologies. The company expects this will lead to increased brand trust and new customer acquisition in the European market. According to market research firm Fact.MR, the European construction equipment market is projected to grow at an average annual rate of 6%, from 198.5 billion dollars in 2025 to 355.5 billion dollars in 2035.
A company representative stated, "We have been recognized for our technological capabilities in the European market, where safety regulations are strict," adding, "We will continue to develop technologies that enhance on-site safety and efficiency."
