Ulsan Museum to Host "After-Work Rest at the Museum" on Culture Day, September 24

A Time for Singing Bowl Meditation in the Exhibition Hall
Online Registration for 30 Participants Opens on the 16th

Ulsan Museum will host a special program for citizens called "After-Work Rest at the Museum" on September 24 in celebration of "Culture Day."

This program features a Singing Bowl meditation experience, held inside the museum's exhibition halls, offering participants a unique opportunity to engage all five senses.

The Singing Bowl is a meditation tool shaped like a bowl, originating from the Himalayan region. It is known for its clear and deep sound vibrations, which are said to relax the body and mind and help relieve stress.

In particular, this session provides a valuable opportunity for participants to escape their daily routines and fully focus on themselves, as they listen to the resonating sounds of the Singing Bowl in the tranquil exhibition spaces of the museum.

The sessions will be held twice on September 24: the first at 4:00 p.m. in the Industrial History Hall and the second at 6:00 p.m. in the History Hall. Each session is open to 15 adults and participation is free of charge.

Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis and can be completed through the Ulsan Public Facility Reservation Service website from 10:00 a.m. on September 16 to 5:00 p.m. on September 19.

Further details can be found on the Ulsan Museum website.

An official from Ulsan Museum stated, "We wanted to give people a chance to pause their fast-paced daily lives and focus on themselves," adding, "We hope this program will offer a moment of rest for both the bodies and minds of our citizens."
