BNK Busan Bank Hosts Exhibition Showcasing the Diversity and Depth of Art

Special Exhibitions Bridging Generations and Genres Held in Succession
A Creative Space for Artists and Enriching Cultural Sensibility for Citizens

BNK Busan Bank (President: Bang Seongbin) announced on September 12 that it is hosting an exhibition at the BNK Busan Bank Gallery in Sinchang-dong, offering visitors a closer look at the diversity and depth of contemporary art from a wide range of perspectives.

First, until September 21, the "Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance International Art Exhibition" will be held, featuring works by more than ten artists, including Professor Zhang Kunlun, who is listed among the world's top ten masters.

The exhibition vividly depicts the strong beliefs of Falun Gong practitioners, who are known for their nonviolent resistance against what is considered the largest human rights oppression in China, using realist oil painting techniques and unique Chinese painting methods.

Following this, from September 22 to 30, photographer Son Daekwang's solo exhibition, "Records and Memories - Snapshot Story," will be held. This exhibition features a series of photographs capturing the unique aesthetics of the street, documenting the various desires and aspirations of modern urban dwellers encountered in the city-a space for both living and consumption-through the camera lens, and offering a new perspective on the relationship between the city and its people through image storytelling.

Since the opening of the BNK Busan Bank Gallery in 2011, Busan Bank has supported over 340 exhibitions by providing free space rentals, and, through the operation of dedicated curators, continues to offer high-quality exhibition opportunities to local residents.
