Customized Digital Competency Enhancement for Small Business Owners
Yeoju City in Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Lee Chungwoo) launched an "AI Informatization Education" program for small business owners on September 11, organized by the Yeoju Small Business Support Center. The event was held in the center's meeting room and attended by about 20 trainees.

This training was designed to help small business owners effectively integrate AI technology into their business operations in a rapidly changing digital environment. The program features a practical, customized curriculum and is structured in stages to enable small business owners to utilize AI across various fields, including store management, marketing, design, and strategy development. The training runs from September 11 to October 23, taking place every Thursday from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., for a total of six sessions.
The education is conducted with a focus on hands-on practice tailored to the needs of small business owners. Participants will have the opportunity to use AI tools directly, experiencing everything from writing text and creating promotional images to planning marketing content and developing business strategies.
Yoo Junhee, head of the Yeoju Small Business Support Center, stated, "I hope this training will enable small business owners to use AI not just as a simple technology, but as a practical business partner. We will actively support them so they can secure competitiveness and achieve sustainable growth in the era of digital transformation."
