A Festival Under the Theme "Library Festival Where Culture Flows"
Mokpo City Library in South Jeolla Province will host the 8th Romantic Harbor Library Festival on the 27th under the theme "Library Festival Where Culture Flows."
According to the city on September 12, a total of eight organizations, including libraries affiliated with Mokpo City, independent bookstores, and local communities, will participate in the festival. A variety of programs will be offered, including hands-on activities, exhibitions, games, and special events, designed for the enjoyment of the whole family, including children.
In particular, at 5 p.m., a performance titled "Dinosaurs Are Alive! Magic Dinosaur World," tailored to children's perspectives, will be staged to provide an immersive dinosaur experience. As a pre-event, on the 26th at 7 p.m., docent Lee Changyong will deliver a humanities lecture titled "The Man Who Reads Paintings: Lee Changyong's Art Journey."
Advance registration for the lecture is available on the Mokpo City Integrated Library website starting September 12, and further details can be found in the website's announcements section.
An official from Mokpo City Library stated, "We hope this festival will serve as a venue for cultural exchange centered around the library," and added, "We look forward to the active interest and participation of our citizens."
