Following the agreement, the company plans to provide access to the "Comprehensive Credit Management Plus" service, offer linked youth financial consulting services, and carry out joint promotional and cooperative activities to realize social value.
Youth with limited financial history will receive a monthly coaching report for one year, including a credit status assessment and guidance for improving their credit score, through Korea Credit Bureau's Comprehensive Credit Management Plus service.
KB Kookmin Card is helping to ease the financial burden and support the independence of young people in their 20s and 30s by lowering interest rates on the KB Kookmin Easy Credit Loan (Youth Mutual Growth Loan), which is designed to support inclusive finance for this demographic.
The company is also participating in the "Customized Card for Young Veterans" project in cooperation with the Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs. By launching the KB Kookmin Heroes Check Card, it supports the social integration of young people who have completed short-term military service.
KB Kookmin Card was previously selected as an outstanding case in the 6th Win-Win Cooperation Financial New Product Awards hosted by the Financial Supervisory Service. The company is expanding its target for inclusive finance from youth to include low-income individuals and small business owners, as demonstrated by initiatives such as the KB Kookmin Card Small Business Owner Support Project.
A KB Kookmin Card representative stated, "Enhancing the financial capability of young people not only supports individual independence but also contributes to the sustainable development of society," adding, "We will continue to take the lead in developing various services to ensure stable financial lives for young people."
