"Meaningful as a Company That Has Grown Together with Yeongdong"
ENEX announced on the 12th that it has donated sponsorship funds and purchased admission tickets in support of the successful hosting of the 2025 Yeongdong World Gugak Expo, which will be held in Yeongdong County, North Chungcheong Province, until October 11.
The donation ceremony, held at Yeongdong County Office on the 11th, was attended by Jeong Youngcheol, Governor of Yeongdong County, Kim Juhwan, Executive Director of ENEX, and Yoo Dongho, Head of ENEX's Hwanggan Plant, among other key officials.

ENEX contributed 10 million won in sponsorship funds and 5 million won for the purchase of admission tickets, expressing its support for the success of the first-ever Gugak Expo to be held in Yeongdong, the birthplace of Korean traditional music.
Kim Juhwan, Executive Director of ENEX, stated, "As a company that has operated the Hwanggan Plant in Yeongdong and has been part of the local community for a long time, it is meaningful for ENEX to participate in this global cultural event. We will continue to grow together with the local community and support the development of culture and the arts."
Jeong Youngcheol, Governor of Yeongdong County, said, "I deeply appreciate the support from a company that stands with the local community, even in difficult times. We will do our utmost to prepare so that this cultural expo can inspire audiences from around the world."
Prior to supporting this Gugak Expo, ENEX also participated in the 'Gangwon International Triennale 2024' held in Pyeongchang, Gangwon Province last year, continuing its activities in support of culture and the arts. This latest donation is also significant as part of the company's efforts to fulfill its social responsibility and grow together with the local community.
The 2025 Yeongdong World Gugak Expo, under the theme "The Scent of Gugak Colors the World," will be held for a month at Yeongdong Rainbow Healing Tourist Site and the Gugak Experience Village. A wide variety of performances and experience programs blending the tradition and modern sensibility of Gugak are attracting attention from both domestic and international visitors.
